BACKGROUND
Ban-tàillear (Scots Gaelic for tailoress, pronounced ban-TIE-yea) was established in 2017. Since then, I've been proud to serve the Lochwinnoch community and surrounding area. Usgar is Scots Gaelic for jewel and my handcrafted silver jewellery is a new addition to my collection.
I was taught to sew by my mother and self taught, turning that into a cottage industry to let me be at home for my children and listen to good music while I work!
I chose the Gaelic names for my formative years, spent very happily on the Isle of Skye. For more information about the products and services I provide, just get in touch!
